Welcome to Appletree House at Joyce's Beach on Swan's Island, Maine, a Down East community on beautiful Blue Hill Bay.

We offer accommodations in a relaxed, friendly setting. Our two guest rooms are decorated with both antique and newer furnishings and art. It is also possible to reserve the entire house, including a queen size futon in the living room, for larger families. The children's room adjoining the Horace Dunham room has a twin bed and a crib.

Appletree House was built in the 1850s. Evelyn and Ronald Rowland have restored the entire house. The B&B offers accommodations in an informal, friendly atmosphere.

Relax under the apple trees, take a walk on Joyce's Beach, search for blueberries (seasonal) or enjoy a day of biking or walking around the island. You may catch sight of turkey, deer, or other wildlife.

Well behaved pets are welcome and we appreciate it if you would not smoke.
